Birmingham midfielder Charlie Lakin is a doubt for the visit of Reading.

The 19-year-old picked up a quad injury in training and missed the 1-0 win at Stoke but is close to a return.

Isaac Vassell (knee) and David Davis (ankle) remain long-term absentees for boss Gary Monk but Vassell is back training. Captain Michael Morrison continues to wear a mask to protect his broken nose.
