Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray could have a near full-strength squad for the League One fixture against Blackpool.
Defender Ryan Nyambe (back) is a slight concern but Mowbray is optimistic he will be fine. Long-term absentee Harry Chapman (hamstring) is now back training and is set to feature for the Under-23s on Monday ahead of a return to the squad.
Striker Dominic Samuel (ankle) is back to full fitness but has been out of form recently.
Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer will return to his old club and could have both Callum Cooke and Sean Longstaff available to him. Cooke (heel) returned to training this week but the Seasiders are exercising caution given he has been out for a month.
Fellow on-loan midfielder Longstaff (hip) was back training last week and would have featured in the squad against Northampton last weekend had that game not been called off. Mark Cullen (hamstring) is also training again, though he remains out along with Jim McAlister (bone bruising).
Blackburn are unbeaten in seven matches against Blackpool in all competitions (W4 D3).
The Seasiders haven't won at Ewood Park since September 1977, losing three and drawing three in all competitions since.
Rovers are unbeaten at Ewood Park in their last 15 league matches (W9 D6), the longest current home run of all 72 teams in the EFL.
Blackpool have won two of their last three league games (D1) - as many as they had in their previous 18 in the competition.
Adam Armstrong has netted five goals in his last six League One outings for Blackburn, after only scoring once in his first 25 league games this season for both Bolton and Blackburn.
Blackburn will be extremely disappointed with the way they let their two-goal lead slip against Wigan last Sunday. They still lead League One but the automatic promotion race is really hard to call right now because of how many games in hand the Shrews and Wigan have.
Blackpool, meanwhile, have turned their form around in recent weeks and are slowly moving out of trouble. I cannot, however, see them getting anything at Ewood Park.
David Prutton predicts: 3-1 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
