Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has been hit by the loss of Neal Eardley ahead of the Championship clash with Crystal Palace at Bloomfield Road.
Eardley sustained a hamstring injury in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United and is set for an extended period on the sidelines.
His place could go to Andy Butler, although centre-half Ian Evatt may come into contention as he continues his way back to full fitness.
Left-back Stephen Crainey played the full 90 minutes at Bramall Lane, just 10 days after suffering a knee problem that looked as if it may require surgery.
Algeria international Hameur Bouazza has been dogged by a groin problem since the African Cup of Nations and is set to remain sidelined.
Crystal Palace defender Claude Davis starts a three-match ban at Blackpool so Matt Lawrence is likely to play.
Davis, who had just returned from suspension, was sent off during Tuesday night's home defeat by Leicester.
Fellow centre-half Paddy McCarthy came through a reserve game this week after nearly five months on the sidelines following shoulder surgery but he is unlikely to be risked from the start, so Lawrence is set for a recall.
Paul Hart has further problems in defence after young right-back Nathaniel Clyne was forced off in midweek with a groin injury.
Lee Hills is on stand-by to come in at left-back with Danny Butterfield switching to the right if Clyne fails a late fitness check.
