Bournemouth v Brighton preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Bournemouth and Brighton at Dean Court.

Bournemouth caretaker boss Lee Bradbury has no new injury concerns ahead of his first home game in charge. Long-term absentees Mark Molesley (ankle) and Steve Lovell (foot) are back in light training and are being primed for reserve-team action. Defender Ryan Garry, who has not featured since November, will definitely miss out again after undergoing an operation on his shin. Newly-appointed player-assistant Steve Fletcher is likely to start on the bench for the Cherries, who have not lost a game in 2011. Bradbury will not consider himself for selection and is the hot favourite to be appointed the club's next full-time manager. A 90th-minute Marc Pugh penalty earned Bournemouth a 1-1 draw when these two sides met at the Withdean in October. Brighton will be without Jamie Smith when they head along the south coast to face Bournemouth. Midfielder Smith suffered a fractured metatarsal in training on Monday and could be sidelined for up to eight weeks. Left-back Jim McNulty and midfielder Alan Navarro are the only other injury absentees for the leaders. McNulty is recovering from recent ankle surgery and Navarro is stepping up his rehabilitation from a ruptured cruciate ligament. Manager Gus Poyet could therefore stick with the side which beat Peterborough 3-1 last weekend. However, midfielder Gary Dicker could be preferred to recent signing Craig Noone if Poyet opts for a more defensive line-up away from home. The Seagulls have won their last three matches and are four points clear at the top.
