Will Hatfield scored in the 90th minute to earn Accrington a 1-1 draw at Bradford that leaves the Bantams still winless at home this year.

The substitute, who had only been on the pitch five minutes, capitalised with a shot at the far post after the home defence failed to clear Kevin McIntyre's corner, forcing the Bantams to settle for a fifth consecutive draw at Valley Parade. Bermudian international striker Nahki Wells put Bradford in front in the 50th minute, taking a long pass from Lee Bullock near the byline before turning smartly to score with an acute angled shot which went in off the underside of the crossbar. Both sides twice went close in the first half. Craig Lindfield split the Bradford defence in the 24th minute to find Padraig Amond unmarked, but fortunately for the home side goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin came racing off his line to tackle. The Bradford keeper made an even better save after 42 minutes when McIntyre's long free-kick found its way through a crowded goalmouth and, McLaughlin, seeing the ball late managed to turn it around a post. Bradford's first chance came after 37 minutes when Wells chested down Rob Kozluk's throw-in into the path of Deane Smalley, whose low shot was turned around by 'keeper Lee Nicholls. Winger Kyel Reid then saw his low shot blocked on the line by Nicholls a minute before the interval.
