Bradford v Barnet preview

Image: Flynn: Could return for Bantams

Bradford midfielder Michael Flynn could return to the squad, but Barnet will be without suspended defender Daniel Leach.

Midfielder Flynn hopes to return for Bantams

Bradford midfielder Michael Flynn could return to the squad for the home clash with Barnet. Flynn has missed the last four matches due to a rib injury but is hoping to feature. If he fails to make it he should be available for next weekend's game at Chesterfield. Manager Peter Taylor has no new injury or suspension problems but no other first-team players are ready to return from their respective injuries. Defender Simon Ramsden has been told to rest his troublesome calf until Monday before returning to training while centre-half Matt Clarke is ruled out with a similar problem. Striker James Hanson and winger Omar Daley are still struggling with hamstring strains but hope to return to first-team action before the end of the season.

Bees news

Barnet will be without defender Daniel Leach for the trip to take on Bradford. Leach was sent-off to cap a dismal performance in which he conceded two penalties in the 4-1 defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge in midweek and will sit out a one-match ban. Manager Ian Hendon may have to have a reshuffle to cater for the Australian's absence as veteran Gary Breen remains out with a knee injury and fellow centre-half Ismail Yakubu is seemingly no nearer to returning from his niggling back injury. Midfielder Mark Hughes went off early on at Dagenham with a nasty head injury and is a doubt, while goalscorer Jake Hyde hobbled off at half-time with an ankle problem. Top scorer John O'Flynn also missed the game because of his long-term ankle injury and captain Micah Hyde is also currently sidelined with an Achilles injury. Barnet have endured a poor second half of the season but will secure their League Two status with a win at Valley Parade.
