Team news for Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash between Bristol Rovers and Aldershot at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol Rovers will be without the suspended Chris Lines for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern section second-round home clash with Aldershot. Midfielder Lines picked up his fifth booking of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win at Huddersfield and will serve his one-match ban by sitting out against the Shots. With Lines unavailable Wayne Brown and Dominic Blizzard, who were both unused substitutes at the weekend, are battling it out for his midfield place. Defender Carl Regan limped out of the victory over the Terriers but has trained fully and will be available. The Pirates will be hoping to take their good league form, which has seen them lose one of their last six games, into the cup competition. But they will be wanting to avoid a repeat of their performance in this year's Carling Cup which saw them slip to a 6-1 defeat at Oxford. Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon is set to make changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to face the Pirates. Dillon complained that his side looked tired during Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Cheltenham and will make as many changes as the competition rules permit. Right-back Ben Herd missed out at the weekend with a thigh injury and will not be considered but Dillon has no other injury concerns. Midfielder Manny Panther returned from a toe injury at the weekend and is fit while Luke Guttridge played the full 90 minutes after a recent knock. Danny Hylton was replaced after just half an hour on Saturday but Dillon confirmed that the decision was tactical and he is available. The Shots boss will rotate his squad meaning the likes of Ross Kitteridge, Ben Harding, Damian Spencer, Jermaine McGlashan, John Halls and Marlon Jackson could all come into the starting XI. The match kicks off at 7.15pm.
