Exeter beat Bristol Rovers 5-4 on penalties to reach the JPT Southern Area final after a 2-2 draw at the Memorial Ground.

Rovers centre-back Byron Anthony had a night to forget as he sliced Scott Golbourne's cross into his own net after 66 minutes as the visitors equalised Will Hoskins' brilliant 20th-minute shot from 25 yards. Hoskins teed-up Ben Swallow to restore Rovers' lead with a side-footed finish after 78 minutes only for Ryan Harley to slot a second equaliser for Exeter from eight yards a minute from time. It was Anthony at fault again in the penalty shoot-out that followed. His shot was brilliantly saved by Artur Krysiak after both sides had scored from their first three kicks. Richard Duffy then kept his nerve to net the decisive spot-kick as Exeter maintained their 100 per cent record from 12 yards. Harley, Billy Jones, Daniel Nardiello and David Noble also scored their penalties. Hoskins, Chris Lines, Danny Coles and Eliot Richards were successful from the spot for Rovers but Anthony's miss proved decisive.
