Gudjonsson returns for Clarets, Edwards struggling for visitors

Joey Gudjonsson is back in the Burnley squad for the visit of Wolves, who are likely to be without Dave Edwards. Icelandic midfielder Gudjonsson has sat out the last two matches through suspension, but could be thrown straight back into the side. Steven Caldwell was available for the win over Charlton in midweek after suspension, but the club captain did not make the 16-man squad. Chris McCann is set to be out for a further two weeks with the thigh injury he sustained during the defeat at Hull.

Wolves news

Andy Keogh will be hoping to force his way into the Wolves team, particularly with Edwards struggling for fitness. Edwards was taken off at half-time in midweek at Preston with a groin problem and was replaced by Keogh, who scored as a substitute. Jody Craddock played the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 defeat following an ankle injury and suffered no reaction. Stephen Ward, Matt Murray (both knee) and Michael Kightly (ankle) are still out, while Stephen Elliott misses out after straining his ankle in training. Freddy Eastwood and Kevin Kyle are back in the squad after a bug, but Matt Jarvis has now fallen victim to illness.
