Burton v Gillingham preview

Image: Lee Bell: Ruled out through suspension

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Burton Albion and Gillingham at the Pirelli Stadium.

Burton are without Lee Bell and Jack Dyer for their game of the season against the League Two champions. Suspension and injury respectively has also ruled both midfielders out of Albion's forthcoming play-off campaign. Bell begins a four-match ban following his second red card of the season during last weekend's defeat to Bradford. He will miss both legs of the play-off semi-final together with either the final or the first match of next season, depending on whether Gary Rowett's side make it to Wembley. Dyer suffered ankle ligament damage at Valley Parade and he faces up to six weeks on the sidelines. Their absence opens the door for club captain John McGrath to return to the team. Fellow midfielder Adam Drury, defenders Aaron Webster and Zander Diamond and strikers Billy Kee and Michael Symes will also be hoping for recalls. Gillingham boss Martin Allen will ring the changes ahead of Saturday's trip to Burton. Allen, whose side claimed the League Two title at the weekend, will make eight changes to the side that drew 2-2 with AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. On-loan Southampton goalkeeper Tommy Forecast is set to make his second league start for the club, replacing Stuart Nelson in goal. Young defenders Mahlon Romeo and Sam Muggleton will make their senior debuts alongside Callum Davies and Andy Frampton in the Gills' back four. Bradley Dack and Sheffield Wednesday loanee Harry Grant join Charlie Allen and Steven Gregory in midfield, while Myles Weston and Adam Birchall replace Deon Burton and Danny Kedwell up front. Allen told the club's official website: "We have a combination of some senior and younger players and I have had two hours with John Schofield to get them ready, and there will be no easing off, that's for sure. "This is a big game for a lot of our players, and we are ready."
