Manager Ryan Lowe returns to Bury's dugout for the home clash with Grimsby after serving a two-game stadium ban for a foul-mouthed rant at anti-doping officials in February.
Shakers skipper Neil Danns misses the game as he is on international duty with Guyana. Lowe made eight changes for Bury's 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Rochdale in midweek and is likely to revert to his strongest line-up.
Will Aimson returns to Sky Bet League One action after completing a suspension for the red card he picked up in the 2-1 defeat at Lincoln. The centre-back featured against Dale.
