Carlisle midfielder Kelvin Etuhu is out of Saturday's League Two clash with Crawley and could miss the start of next season through injury.
Etuhu suffered a severe hamstring tear during Monday's 1-0 defeat at Grimsby and while he is certain to miss the final two games of this campaign, manager Steven Pressley fears he will not be ready for the beginning of the new one either.
Midfielder Jamie Devitt is likely to sit out once again as he battles his own hamstring problem, as is defender Danny Grainger, who has announced he is to retire at the end of the campaign. Striker Mark Cullen returned from a groin injury as a substitute on Monday but his involvement over the remaining fixtures is likely to be limited to cameo appearances.
Crawley's Matty Willock is available for the long trip. Willock missed Monday's 1-1 home draw with Notts County through injury but is back in contention.
Crawley have the chance to go four games unbeaten in League Two for the first time this season if they avoid defeat. The Reds sit 19th in the table but their safety has already been confirmed.
Carlisle are unbeaten in their last 10 league games against Crawley (W5 D5), taking 17 points from their last 21 available against them.
Crawley's only previous victory against Carlisle in the Football League came in September 2012 (2-0), their first ever such meeting.
Carlisle have won back-to-back home league games having only won one of their previous five at Brunton Park in League Two (D2 L2).
Crawley have won their last two away league games; they've only won three in a row on the road once before in the Football League, doing so in October 2011 during their first season in League Two.
Crawley's Felipe Morais has been directly involved in four of his team's last five goals in League Two (2 goals, 2 assists).
