    Image: Hamer: Out suspended

Team news for Monday's League One clash between Charlton and Brentford at The Valley.

Charlton will be without first-choice goalkeeper Ben Hamer. Hamer is suspended for the meeting with his former club after being sent off in the opening stages of Saturday's defeat at Leyton Orient, so John Sullivan gets a rare start for the leaders. Striker Leon Clarke could make his debut after moving to the Addicks from Swindon in a swap deal with Paul Benson heading in the opposite direction. Winger Danny Green returns from a ban and should reclaim his place in the starting line-up, while midfielder Hogan Ephraim will be checked over after he was unwell on Saturday. Midfielder Dale Stephens is expected to miss out again although he is close to returning from an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Dale Bennett is back in the Brentford squad. The defender has rejoined the Bees on a month's loan from Watford after his previous spell at Griffin Park earlier this season was cut short by a knee injury after just one appearance. Manager Uwe Rosler rotated his squad for Saturday's 3-3 draw with MK Dons so the likes of defender Harlee Dean, midfielder Toumani Diagouraga and striker Clayton Donaldson can expect recalls. Defender Karleigh Osborne is also pushing to be included following his recent recovery from a foot injury. Club captain Kevin O'Connor is still on the sidelines with an ankle injury and is not expected to be back in action until February.
