Team news ahead of Sunday's League One clash between Charlton Athletic and Walsall at The Valley (2pm).

Charlton have injury worries at both ends of the pitch for the home game against Walsall. Goalkeeper Rob Elliot sustained a hip injury during Thursday night's FA Cup replay win over Luton, and striker Paul Benson had to be replaced in the second half with a knee knock. Elliot could probably be patched up to face the Saddlers but Benson has been for a scan to determine the extent of his problem and is a doubt. Loanees Lee Martin and Marcel Seip were ineligible in midweek and will be in the squad, the latter having yet to make his debut since joining from Plymouth some three weeks ago. Skipper Christian Dailly serves the final match of his four-game ban. Walsall will assess the fitness of forwards Jon Macken and Reuben Reid ahead of Sunday's trip to Charlton. The pair picked up respective calf and hamstring injuries during the 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday last month and it remains to be seen whether they will have recovered in time. But with the bottom-of-the-table Saddlers having won just two of their last 15 league games, under-pressure boss Chris Hutchings will be hoping to have the key pair available, especially after the returns of attacking duo Martin Devaney and Liam Dickinson to parent club Barnsley following the completion of their loan stints at the Banks's Stadium. Striker and captain Darren Byfield remains sidelined with his long-term knee injury, with a return set for early in the New Year.
