Town go in search of first league win

Cheltenham Town go in search of their first league win of the season when they welcome Swindon to Whaddon Road on Saturday. Town lost 4-2 at Northampton last weekend as their League One season began in disappointing style. Manager Keith Downing saw his side bounce back against Southend after extra time in the Carling Cup in midweek, but he will still be eager for a first three-point haul. Downing should be boosted by the arrival of loan signings Barry Hayles and Jennison Myrie-Williams, who will both relish the chance to impress against local rivals Swindon. Midfielder Scott Brown, who has missed the opening two games of the season, is still struggling with an ankle injury. Swindon boss Maurice Malpas saw his side win their opening game at home to Tranmere and may opt not to alter his team, despite a midweek cup defeat to Queens Park Rangers. New signing Mark Marshall will not play against Cheltenham, while striker Barry Corr lacks match fitness and is set for the sidelines.
