COVENTRY 1-1 SUNDERLAND
FULL-TIME! Fantastic second half at the Ricoh Arena but it finishes all square. Lee Cattermole fired Sunderland in front after 49 minutes but Jonson Clarke-Harris equalised for Coventry midway through.
Both sides had chances to win it but it was Coventry who had a golden opportunity in the 89th minute as Chaplin saw an effort cleared off the line after racing clean through on goal.
90: Four minutes added on.
89: OFF THE LINE!!! What a chance for Coventry to win it. A long ball over the top is completely missed by Flanagan. Chaplin is then racing through one on one and he dinks the ball over McLaughlin, it's heading towards goal but not quickly enough and Baldwin manages to get back to clear.
87: WHAT A SAVE! Honeyman picks the ball up in the box and hits it really cleanly, it looks like it's heading for the corner but Burge gets a strong right hand to keep it out. Fantastic stop.
86: Sunderland in control of possession as they search for a winner. Coventry holding firm and currently looking like they would be happy with a draw.
82: Sunderland looking the more likely now. Power fires another great ball right into the heart of the six-yard box, which Burge spills but Coventry manage to clear. If Gooch could actually move he may have had a tap in there.
79: CHANCE! Cattermole inches from his and Sunderland's second but he can't get on the end of a low ball across the six-yard box.
WATCH: COVENTRY LEVEL
Here's how Jonson Clarke-Harris levelled for Coventry...
77: SUB! Coventry make another change and it's a first appearance back for Jodi Jones following injury. Luke Thomas makes way.
Gooch has a word with manager Jack Ross, meanwhile, and decides to stay on. Even though he can't move.
75: Gooch can't carry on now. Sunderland may have to finish this game with 10 men.
73: Concern here for Sunderland. Gooch went down injured after that cross and they've already used all three of their substitutes...
72: SHOT! Gooch bursts down the right and whips a decent ball in. It finds its way to Oviedo, who can hit them from the edge of the area, but Burge gets down well to his right to make the save.
70: Honeyman should probably do better here. He cuts in from the left just inside the box and decides to try and shoot, but it's an easy gather for Burge.
GOAL! COVENTRY 1-1 SUNDERLAND (Clarke-Harris, 68)
Coventry are level! Sterling gets a little bit lucky with a bounce but he does well to race through and beat two Sunderland men to the ball. He then crosses low for Jonson Clarke-Harris, who smartly slots the ball into the bottom corner.
COVENTRY 0-1 SUNDERLAND
66: SUB! Final change for Sunderland as Dylan McGeough is replaced by Max Power.
65: CHANCE! Thomas races in behind after a lovely slip through from Bayliss, but McLaughlin is alert to it as he darts to the edge of his box to deny the forward. Great goalkeeping.
62: Coventry knocking on the door a bit now. Clarke-Harris works himself an angle and has a pop, but it's an easy save for McLaughlin at the near post.
WATCH: CATTERMOLE OPENS SCORING
Here's how Lee Cattermole opened the scoring for Sunderland...
56: CHANCE! Big opportunity for Coventry to get level as they get into the box and Clarke-Harris squares for Chaplin, but he scuffs his effort wide.
Had to at least hit the target there.
54: Sunderland have picked up the pace themselves and Cattermole does well to loft the ball over the top for Maguire. He beats the offside trap but has to turn back on himself and eventually his shot is blocked.
52: Good response from Coventry. Oviedo can only head a ball as far as Bayliss on the edge of the area, but the flag goes up for offside before he can drive an effort on goal.
GOAL! COVENTRY 0-1 SUNDERLAND (Cattermole, 49)
Out of nowhere Sunderland carve out an opening and take the lead! Matthews and Maguire combine well down the right and Matthews fires a low ball into the box, it finds Lee Cattermole, who is hovering around 12 yards out, and he coolly fires home.
COVENTRY 0-0 SUNDERLAND
SECOND HALF! We're back under way at the Ricoh Arena. No changes from either side.
HALF-TIME! It's goalless at the break but the story of the first half is injuries. Sunderland lost Glenn Loovens early and then Denver Hume after Junior Brown was forced off for Coventry.
The closest we came to a goal was when Maguire hit the post with a free-kick for Sunderland after nine minutes before Gooch fired the rebound over.
45+6: CHANCE! Sunderland swing a corner in and Flanagan rises at the back post. His header is heading top corner but Burge gets across to gather it.
45+3: Baldwin with a poor challenge from behind on Clarke-Harris, but again the referee is lenient in not showing the yellow card.
45: Eight minutes added on.
44: Should have a fair bit of stoppage time here after an injury-hit half.
40: CHANCE! A Coventry corner finds its way to Hyam unmarked at the back stick. It falls right to him but he doesn't really know what to do with it, so the ball just sort of hits him and then bounces to McLaughlin to gather.
39: Gooch is down holding his faced after he feels he's caught by Clarke-Harris. Referee opts for a drop ball and Sunderland put it out of play for a Coventry throw in.
Strange half of football at the Ricoh.
37: SUB! Sunderland make a second forced change. Denver Hume is off and Bryan Oviedo is on.
36: Or maybe not...
34: Actually he should be okay to continue.
33: It looks like we've got another injury. Hume flew into a challenge with Thomas and it looks like he got his foot caught in the ground as he went in. The Sunderland man is down now receiving treatment.
30: YELLOW! Cattermolle finally goes into the book for a poor challenge. He'll be suspended on Tuesday night.
29: Coventry fly up the other end and Chaplin puts another teasing ball up to the back post. Thomas tries to head it back in but Cattermole is there to get it clear.
26: Cattermole very lucky to get away without a yellow card after a really poor challenge on Thomas. Lenient refereeing to say the least.
24: Sunderland put a move together as Gooch cuts in then finds Maguire. He tries to turn in the box and get a pop away, but his effort is blocked. The ball then finds its way to Baldwin outside the box but his shot is deflected wide.
23: Both sides have struggled to build any momentum as we reach the midway point in the first half, which is unsurprising considering the injury breaks.
19: SHOT! Clarke-Harris works himself some space 25 yards from goal and has a pop. It dips in front of McLaughlin but it's a relatively routine save.
18: Right! We're back under way. Both sides have already lost a player to injury but we should be on our way now.
17: SUB! He won't be able to continue Junior Brown is off and Tom Davies is on. Bit of a reshuffle in the Coventry backline.
Looks like Sterling to left-back, Willis to right-back and Davies to slot in the centre.
16: Brown is on his feet now and walking off, which is a good sign, but it's still unclear whether he'll be able to continue.
14: It's Clarke-Harris and Brown who are down. Doesn't look too serious for Clarke-Harris but Brown is still down receiving treatment.
12: Good work from Thomas as he turns on the gas and charges through a few challenges to win Coventry a corner.
13: It comes to nothing but a couple of Coventry players are down after a clash of heads in the box.
9: YELLOW! Hyam goes into the book for Coventry, Sunderland with a free-kick in a very good area...
OFF THE POST! Maguire's free-kick hits the post and bounce clear, before Honeyman fires over into a virtually empty net from the rebound.
5: Good movement from Coventry sees Chaplin in a great crossing position. He whips one across but no one is there to get onto the end of it.
6: Chaplin involved again as he nearly gets on the end of a ball over the top, but it just runs through to McLaughlin in the Sunderland goal.
4: Glenn Loovens' race is already run. Adam Matthews is on for Sunderland.
3: Early concern for Sunderland as Loovens goes down. The centre back might not be able to carry on.
