Crawley v Yeovil preview
Last Updated: 27/09/18 6:43pm
Crawley will be without suspended duo Joe McNerney and Mark Connolly for the Sky Bet League One clash with Yeovil.
McNerney was sent off after coming on as a substitute at Forest Green last week, while fellow defender Connolly also serves a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in that game.
Romain Vincelot, who has not played since September 1, should be fit to return following an ankle injury. Midfielder Jimmy Smith is out for the season after undergoing knee surgery.
Yeovil striker Diallang Jaiyesimi will miss the trip to West Sussex due to injury. The Norwich loanee is awaiting the results of a knee scan after being carried off following a heavy challenge in the first half of the midweek draw with MK Dons.
Captain Omar Sowunmi is a major doubt after an ankle problem saw him limp off against the Dons in stoppage time. Defender Tom James and forward Alex Fisher came off the bench on Tuesday and are pushing for starts.
Crawley have won their last three Football League matches against Yeovil after losing four in a row between February 2015 and December 2016.
The five Football League meetings between Crawley and Yeovil at the Broadfield Stadium have either ended 2-0 to Crawley (three times) or 1-0 to Yeovil (twice).
Both teams have scored in 10 of Crawley Town's last 11 home league games (W3 D3 L5), with their 2-0 win over Morecambe in their last home match the only exception.
Yeovil have won each of their last three away league games by an aggregate score of 11-0. They have never previously won four straight away outings in the Football League, last winning three in a row in February 2013.
Crawley Town are the only side yet to concede a single goal from a set-piece in League Two so far this season.
