Crewe defensive duo battling to be fit
Crewe centre-halves Matt Mitchel-King and Harry Worley are battling to be fit for the visit of Accrington.
Mitchel-King was forced off against Aldershot last weekend after the ball struck him in the face, causing dizziness, but there is a good chance he will be fit.
Worley is a doubt after he was also withdrawn during that game due to an ankle tendon strain, although the damage is not as bad as initially feared.
First-choice keeper Steve Phillips has a slight shoulder problem. He would probably be able to play but boss Dario Gradi has hinted he could give a rare run-out to Adam Legzdins, who is trying to earn a new contract at Gresty Road.
Rookie striker Dan Gardner could also be given a chance while midfielder James Bailey may come back into the reckoning after missing the last two matches with a shin problem.
Stanley news
Manager John Coleman could opt to make changes as Accrington look to halt a winless run of eight league games.
Stanley, who had been chasing a play-off spot earlier in the season, now lie down in 15th spot and will be desperately hoping to end their season on a high.
Leam Richardson has made just one appearance all season and will again play no part as he continues to struggle with a groin injury.
Midfielder Alan Burton is Coleman's only other injury absentee as he continues to battle against a similar problem.
When the two sides last met back in September, Accrington came out on top 5-3 in an eight goal thriller at the Crown Ground.
