Dag & Red v Accrington preview

Image: Symes: Suspended

Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still will be forced into at least one change for the visit of Accrington.

Daggers without Folly, Symes banned for Stanley

Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still will be forced into at least one change for the visit of Accrington Stanley. Midfielder Yoann Folly has returned to parent club Plymouth so Peter Gain will move to the middle of midfield from the left. Either Graeme Montgomery or Jon Nurse will play wide left, with Nurse in the driving seat after he came off the bench to inspire a comeback at Bradford last weekend. Still has no fresh suspensions or injuries but is without midfielder Stuart Thurgood, who remains sidelined with a knee injury which threatens to end his season. Defender Will Antwi is still nursing a calf strain as the Daggers look to improve on a record which has seen them take just one point off Accrington at home in five attempts.

Accrington news

Accrington will be without leading scorer Michael Symes for the trip to promotion rivals Dagenham. The striker will complete his three-match ban before returning to contention for the home clash against Grimsby on Easter Monday. Leam Richardson is closing in on a return from a groin injury and if he is fit in time he could make the bench against John Still's men. But Alan Burton is still struggling with an ankle problem and will definitely play no part. Promotion hopefuls Stanley, who are currently seven points away from the play-off places, will be hoping to halt a poor run of form that has seen them go three league games without a win following defeats to Rochdale, Burton and Bournemouth.
