Daggers set to welcome back skipper Arber

Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still is set to welcome captain Mark Arber back into his side as they host Aldershot. The centre-half has missed the last two games with a knee injury but is back in training and should return to the back four. Arber's return is timely as his deputy Scott Doe will miss out with a one-match suspension after collecting his fifth booking of the season last time out at Bournemouth. Matt Lockwood has returned to Colchester after his month-long loan deal expired so Jamie Day will start at left-back after signing from Peterborough. Striker Wesley Thomas sits out the second of a three-game ban and Josh Scott is still missing due to an ankle injury so Jon Nurse will partner Paul Benson in attack.

Shots news

Aldershot will be without Kirk Hudson for the trip to take on high-flyers Dagenham. Hudson missed the 0-0 FA Cup draw at Tranmere on Saturday after injuring his knee in the midweek win over Northampton and will again sit out against John Still's side. Defender Adam Hinshelwood returned from his nagging knee injury at Prenton Park but could only make do with a place on the bench thanks to the form of Anthony Charles and Chris Blackburn. The Shots have only conceded one goal in the four games since Kevin Dillon took charge so Hinshelwood may have to get used to being out of the side. Left-back Dean Howell remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a hip operation but Dillon has no other injury concerns.
