      Billy Clarke took his tally for the season to seven with his first goal at the Darlington Arena to help his side beat Accrington 3-0. The on-loan Ipswich striker struck in the 32nd minute when he reacted quickly to lob over keeper Kenny Arthur when Franz Burgmeier's shot was deflected. And, following an astute pass from skipper Steve Foster he doubled the lead with another lob in the 53rd minute. Alan White then scored his first of the campaign after 76 minutes as the powerful central defender headed home at the near post from Burgmeier's corner. The closest Accrington came was when Paul Mullin's close range shot following John Miles' corner on 65 minutes was saved on the line by Darlington keeper Simon Brown.
