Doncaster vs AFC Wimbledon preview

Former Premier League defender Shaun Cummings could feature for Doncaster against AFC Wimbledon.
Cummings has signed a two-month deal with Rovers in light of Joe Wright being out for the rest of the year, and has been training for a fortnight. He played in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek and could make his league bow as Rovers look to end a six-game winless run.
The clash is likely to come too soon for the returning Tommy Rowe, who is set for a behind-closed-doors clash next week after his hamstring problems.
Simon Bassey is in charge of Wimbledon, who have a new face in the dugout for the first time in six years following the departure of Neal Ardley. Former Blackburn man Steven Reid is assisting Bassey, with the Dons second bottom in the table with just two league wins all season.
Three players are back for Bassey, with Andy Barcham (calf), Will Nightingale (hip) and Rod McDonald (quad) available. Tyler Garrett (knee) and James Hanson (calf) are missing.
Doncaster failed to score in each of their two League One games against AFC Wimbledon last season (D1 L1).
There were just 13 shots in this exact fixture last season, a goalless draw at the Keepmoat Stadium, a result that secured AFC Wimbledon's place in League One.
Doncaster have lost five of their last seven league games, including each of their last three - they haven't lost four successive such games since May 2017.
AFC Wimbledon have failed to score in 26 of their last 46 league away games (56.5%), failing to find the net in five of their last seven.
Simon Bassey will be taking charge of his second spell at AFC Wimbledon, previously winning two of his four games between September and October 2012 (L2).
