Striker Andy Williams could make his first Doncaster appearance for nearly four months in Monday's League One Yorkshire derby at home to Bradford.
Williams, who suffered an ankle injury in November, and midfielder Ben Khemis, who has had a knee problem, played for the development side in their win over Walsall, having both been unused substitutes in the goalless draw at Southend.
Midfielder Alfie Beestin is nearing a return after discovering his ankle injury was not as bad as first feared. On-loan Burnley defender Tom Anderson (fractured cheekbone) is continuing his rehabilitation and Andy Butler (knee) is also out.
Bradford will hope to avoid their winless league run extending to 10 matches, but will be without striker Charlie Wyke. Wyke is banned for the second of three games after his red card at Plymouth.
Boss Simon Grayson could make changes after the home loss to Wigan, when Alex Jones was on the bench following an ankle injury. Omari Patrick could come into the squad following a knee problem. Midfielder Jake Reeves (groin) and defender Ryan McGowan (knee) are still out.
Doncaster have not won any of their last seven home league matches against Bradford (D3 L4) since a 2-0 win in April 1981 with goals from Steve Lister and Glynn Snodin, with the latter now Bradford's assistant manager.
The Bantams have won four of their last five matches against Donny in all competitions, losing the other in the League Cup earlier this season.
Darren Ferguson has faced Bradford nine times previously in all competitons but only two of those have been in home games - he won both of those with Peterborough in December 2007 and December 2013.
Simon Grayson has faced Doncaster in all competitions 10 times and is yet to lose against them (W5 D5).
