Exeter 1-0 Hartlepool: Ribeiro snatches late winner

Christian Ribeiro scored a dramatic injury-time winner as Exeter edged a narrow clash with Hartlepool at St James' Park by the only goal of the game.
The first half was a bit of a non-event with neither side testing the goalkeeper. Exeter had perhaps the better of the opportunities, but instead of going for goal, they were guilty of overplaying.
The Grecians did have the ball in the net, but David Wheeler's goal was chalked off for an offside against team-mate Tom Nichols, who was caught in the build up.
Rhys Oates skied over at the start of the second half for Hartlepool with the best chance of the game so far, but the away side had a great chance to go in front when Jordan Tillson was adjudged to have fouled Oates inside the box.
Rakish Bingham's penalty was poor and easily saved by Bobby Olejnik, and he was made to pay as Exeter full-back Ribeiro finished from a tight angle with his left foot following a wonderful move involving Joel Grant and Clinton Morrison.
