    Fleetwood v Nottm Forest preview

Team news ahead of Monday night's Capital One Cup first-round clash between Fleetwood and Nottingham Forest at Highbury.

Fleetwood manager Micky Mellon looks set to hand debuts to a number of players. Gerard Kinsella became the Cod Army's 11th summer signing this week and joins a list of players in the hunt for a first-team place. Youl Mawene, David Ball, Conor McLaughlin, Jon Parkin, Damien Johnson and Barry Nicholson will all be hoping to start at Highbury Stadium as the seaside club prepare for their first season in league football. The tie will be an historic event for the club as they make their debut in the competition. Mellon's side have good form in cup competitions after beating Wycombe and Yeovil en route to the FA Cup third round last season. Chris Cohen should be the only absentee for Forest. Cohen missed almost the entire 2011/2012 campaign after suffering serious knee ligament damage against local rivals Derby last September. The versatile midfielder is well on the road to recovery but the first-round tie against the Cod Army is likely to come too soon for him to be involved. The match at Highbury Stadium will be Sean O'Driscoll's first competitive fixture as manager. He will have all six of the club's summer signings - Adlene Guedioura, Danny Collins, Greg Halford, Dan Harding, Simon Gillett and Daniel Ayala - vying for debuts.
