Premier League sides set for last-16 showdown

Fulham will bid to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for a third successive year when they host Bolton in the fifth round on Sunday. The Cottagers have enjoyed a strong campaign in the tournament so far this year, scoring 10 goals in two games, including four in their impressive demolition of Tottenham last time out. Mark Hughes' side enter the Craven Cottage encounter on the back of a four-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, a run that has left them 12th in the Premier League, but just four points clear of the drop zone. Bolton have also enjoyed some encouraging results of late, taking three wins from their last four matches. The Trotters secured their passage into the last 16 for only the second time in five years on Wednesday, with Ivan Klasnic's strike sealing a 1-0 victory in their fourth-round replay against Wigan. Owen Coyle's men are contenders for a top-six league finish this season, currently sitting a comfortable eighth in the table, and will take heart from the fact they have won both of their two previous FA Cup meetings with the Cottagers. The most recent of these came in 2005, when an early Kevin Davies goal secured a 1-0 triumph at the Reebok Stadium, while the only other encounter in the tournament came in 1953, with the Trotters emerging 3-1 home winners.
    Team news
The Cottagers are yet to hand Eidur Gudjohnsen his first Fulham start after he missed out against Chelsea on Monday, and the Iceland international could run out against Bolton. Manager Hughes says Philippe Senderos is making good progress from an Achilles injury after playing for the reserves in midweek, but the defender is unlikely to be fit for Sunday. Dickson Etuhu (hamstring) is doubtful for the clash, while Bobby Zamora is still around two weeks away from fitness after recovering from a broken leg. Bolton will be without half of their first-choice back four for Sunday's trip. Zat Knight is expected to miss six weeks with a knee ligament injury and Trotters boss Coyle confirmed on Friday that Sam Ricketts ruptured his Achilles against Wigan on Wednesday and will be out for the rest of the season. With full-backs Gretar Steinsson and Jlloyd Samuel still sidelined, Marcos Alonso may again be asked to deputise, while in-form striker Daniel Sturridge is cup-tied.
