Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Gillingham and Charlton.

Josh Cullen scored his first goal for Charlton as Lee Bowyer's promotion-chasing side made it nine wins from 12 with a 2-0 victory at managerless Gillingham.

Joe Aribo put the visitors in front on after 24 minutes, sliding the ball through Connor Ogilvie's legs and past the unsighted Tomas Holy from Ben Purrington's cross.

A Holy mistake shortly before the break gifted the visitors their second goal.

The Czech goalkeeper spilled Jonny Williams' shot into Cullen's path, and the West Ham loanee slotted into the bottom corner from eight yards.

However, Holy ensured the scoreline was kept respectable, as he made two excellent saves after the break - blocking Igor Vetokele's drive following a swift Addicks break, then keeping out Purrington's back-post effort.

Cullen also wasted a great chance to extend Charlton's lead three minutes from time when he headed over from Aribo's delivery.

Despite the defeat, Gillingham confirmed their League One status just under a day after sacking manager Steve Lovell.
