      Misery continues for Mariners

Luton's Tom Craddock grabbed an equaliser in the third minute of added time to deny Grimsby manager Mike Newell a victory against his former club. Peter Bore put the Mariners ahead after just 40 seconds but Craddock equalised from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute. Defender Ryan Bennett nodded Grimsby ahead again in the 58th minute before Craddock struck his second and the late equaliser meaning that Grimsby set a new club record of 19 league games without a win. Grimsby raced into the lead when Liam Trotter's forceful play set up a shot for Bore, which was stopped on the line by Keith Keane but the striker followed up to crash the loose ball home. The home side were denied a second by a finger-tip save by Conrad Logan from another Bore effort. Luton got back in to the game and their pressure paid off when Craddock outpaced Bennett and was then brought down by keeper Phil Barnes with the striker getting up to fire the penalty home and level matters. Grimsby took the lead again when a free-kick on the left-hand side of the box when Peter Till lifted the ball into the middle and Bennett rose to direct a firm header into the bottom corner. However, the Mariners couldn't hold on and Craddock picked the ball up on the right and cut inside before firing a tremendous shot with his left foot into the bottom corner to give bottom-placed Luton a share of the spoils.
