Bristol Rovers completed a League One double over struggling Hereford with an emphatic 3-0 victory at Edgar Street.
A hat-trick from leading marksman Rickie Lambert clinched Rovers an impressive win as he struck twice in eight first-half minutes when he beat goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi with two low shots.
A superb free-kick from outside the penalty area went straight through Hereford's defensive wall to beat Gulacsi at the near post to make it 1-0.
And Lambert's second came when he lashed a low drive into the far corner from 12 yards.
Hereford's best effort in the first half was a dipping drive from midfielder Chris Taylor which was pushed over the crossbar by goalkeeper Steve Phillips.
Hereford stepped up a gear after the break with winger Matt Done hitting a post with a volley from a cross by Febian Brandy, but Lambert clinched Rovers' win from the penalty spot in the 58th minute after full-back Ryan Green had been fouled in the area.
