Robins brushed aside at Edgar Street
Hereford moved off the bottom of League One with an emphatic 3-0 victory over fellow strugglers Cheltenham.
First-half goals from striker Steve Guinan in the 15th and 26th minutes put the Bulls on their way to victory for the first time in five games.
Guinan fired the first past goalkeeper Shane Higgs from 10 yards and then followed it up with a tremendous shot for his second.
But at the other end goalkeeper Matt Murray, who joined Hereford on loan from Wolves on Wednesday, came to the rescue when he tipped a shot from Robins' midfielder Scott Murray over the crossbar.
After the break Guinan spilt open the Robins' defence again but his shot flashed inches wide of the far post before Hereford went on to clinch their victory in the 56th minute.
Cheltenham failed to clear a long clearance from Murray and in stepped Sam Gwynne to round Higgs and fire the ball into the net for his first goal in the Football League.
