MK Dons made a safe passage into the Southern Area final of the JPT with a 4-1 win over Hereford.

Ince's men book date in Area final

MK Dons breezed past Hereford with a 4-1 victory to secure a tie against Southampton in the Southern Area final of the Johnston's Paint Trophy. Paul Ince's men showed their superiority as early as the sixth minute when Sam Baldock fired them ahead following an intense spell of pressure. But they let the League Two side back into the match on 63 minutes as Hereford levelled, Leon Constantine bagging the goal. Jason Puncheon (69) restored the lead for the visitors and substitute Aaron Wilbraham added a third in the 78th minute. The Bulls were left stunned and Jermaine Easter notched the fourth seven minutes from time to secure the win.
