Hull must do without suspended top scorer Fraizer Campbell for the visit of Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich.
Campbell, who scored four goals in three appearances before the international break, collected a fifth caution during Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, so will serve a one-match ban.
Will Keane, who came off the bench for the closing stages against Forest, could be drafted in alongside Chris Martin, who is set to face the club where he started his career. Forward Nouha Dicko (hamstring) and defender Stephen Kingsley (hip) continue their recovery along with Jon Toral (calf) and James Weir (knee).
Championship leaders Norwich will make a late call on midfielder Moritz Leitner, who sustained a calf problem during Saturday's impressive 4-1 win at Swansea. Playmaker Emi Buendia is expected to shake off a knock to his knee, but otherwise the high-flying Canaries report no fresh injury concerns.
Captain Grant Hanley is in contention to return to the squad, the centre-back having been sidelined since early September with a thigh injury. Kenny McLean (ankle), winger Matt Jarvis (ankle/knee) and Carlton Morris (knee) are all back in training as they build up fitness, while midfielder Louis Thompson (shoulder) also continues his recovery.
Hull are unbeaten in four home league matches against Norwich (W3 D1) since a 1-2 defeat in April 2007.
Norwich have won one of their last eight league games against Hull (D3 L4), a 1-0 win in the Premier League in January 2014.

After picking up just two points from their previous seven games (D2 L5), Hull City have won seven points from their last 12 available in the Championship (W2 D1 L1).
Norwich City have lost just one of their last 13 league games (W10 D2), winning each of the last six in a row. The Canaries last won seven in a row in January 2010 (8 wins).
Norwich striker Teemu Pukki has scored five goals in his last three league appearances for the Canaries.
Hull are really struggling to score goals this season. The only time they have scored more than once in their last 11 games they couldn't even get the win!
Norwich are right at the opposite end of the scale. They have scored four times in their last three games and are absolutely flying at the top of the table. You would fancy them to make this another comfortable victory.
David Prutton predicts: 0-3 (20/1 with Sky Bet)
