Leeds v Blackpool preview

Image: O'Dea: Likely to miss out

Team news ahead of Wednesday evening's Championship clash between Leeds and Blackpool at Elland Road.

Defender Darren O'Dea is a major doubt for Leeds. The centre-back, on loan from Celtic, came off in the Whites' 1-1 draw with Cardiff on Sunday after suffering from blurred vision and dizziness. His error allowed Bluebirds' Joe Mason to break the deadlock, but Grayson explained afterwards that he had suffered a knock on the head in their previous game against Birmingham and was still struggling. "Darren has done really well for us over the past few weeks and if he doesn't play, we do have some good players ready to step in," Grayson the club's official website The most likely suitor would be Paddy Kisnorbo after he replaced O'Dea against Cardiff. Goalkeeper Andy Lonergan (fractured finger) is still weeks away from returning so Paul Rachubka will continue to feature in goal. Luciano Becchio is vying to replace Andy Keogh up front. Gary Taylor-Fletcher is a major injury doubt as Ian Holloway's side look to get back to winning ways. Taylor-Fletcher was absent from the 3-1 Lancashire derby defeat to Burnley on Saturday and is expected to miss out once more. Blackpool are on a run of two wins in eight matches and Holloway concedes the absence of Taylor-Fletcher's physical presence is not helping their cause. He told the Blackpool Gazette: "Football is very simple. At Burnley we didn't have anyone on the day to win a header. Taylor-Fletcher is the only one I've got and he wasn't fit." Midfielder Elliot Grandin is still two to three weeks away from a return to action following toe surgery. Lomano LuaLua made his second appearance for the Seasiders from the bench at Turf Moor and is expected to feature as a substitute once more as he looks to build match fitness.
