Simon Grayson will take charge of Leeds United for the first time against his former club Leicester City.
Grayson, installed as Gary McAllister's replacement on Tuesday, could be boosted by the return to action of Jermaine Beckford and Andy Robinson.
Leading goalscorer Beckford has missed the last four matches and Robinson the last three. Both players have been struggling with hamstring injuries.
Malcolm Christie could come into consideration for his first league start for Leeds following injury and illness and midfielder David Prutton is available again after suspension.
Grayson must decide whether to include French defender Mansour Assoumani, who made his debut at full-back last week after arriving on a short-term contract.
Leicester left-back Joe Mattock comes back into the reckoning for the trip to Elland Road.
The England Under 21 international has missed training for the last 10 days through illness but will return to the squad and provide competition for Bruno Berner and Chris Powell.
Mattock's inclusion is expected to be the only change to Nigel Pearson's squad, although the City boss may make changes to his starting line-up with two games in three days over the festive period.
Aleksandar Tunchev has shown no ill-effects after returning from a groin injury in the 4-0 demolition of promotion rivals Peterborough on Saturday and the Bulgarian should continue at the heart of the Foxes defence.
