Leyton Orient v Rochdale preview

Image: McGleish: Has a suspected broken rib

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Leyton Orient and Rochdale at Brisbane Road.

Andrew Whing will be added to the Leyton Orient squad for the visit of Rochdale. The defender has been drafted in on loan from Brighton until January after the O's were hit by a spate of injuries. Strikers Scott McGleish and Jonathan Tehoue have been ruled out along with winger Paul-Jose M'Poku. McGleish has a suspected broken rib and Tehoue has been struck down with a virus, while Tottenham loanee M'Poku pulled up with a hamstring injury at Swindon last week. Full-back Charlie Daniels has also been struggling with a knock this week but manager Russell Slade hopes he will be fit. Lee Butcher continues in goal with Jamie Jones (groin) still sidelined. Rochdale manager Keith Hill has limited options for his side's trip to Leyton Orient. Winger Deane Smalley has finished his loan spell and returns to Oldham while Andrew Tutte has gone back to Manchester City following his stint with the club. On-loan Nicky Adams looks set to continue after some impressive performances recently and Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro has returned to the squad after recovering from an ankle problem and could be recalled to the starting line-up. Josh Thompson impressed in his short spell in the team and could be considered if Hill wants to change his defence, while Scott Wisemen and Joe Widdowson have both fully recovered from niggles and will keep their places in the starting line-up.
