Leyton Orient 3-2 York: Simpson brace helps sink York

Two goals from Jay Simpson saw Leyton Orient claim a 3-2 win over York at Brisbane Road, despite a brace from Vadaine Oliver.
The home side totally dominated the game until the final 10 minutes when York enjoyed their best spell and a late goal left the home side holding on nervously.
Mathieu Baudry put the O's ahead on 21 minutes when he was left unchallenged to head home a corner by Sammy Moore, before his afternoon turned sour minutes later when he was forced off with a foot injury.
The teams then exchanged goals in the final minutes of the first half. Orient doubled their lead when John Marquis ran at the defence before slipping the ball across goal for Simpson to record his 12th goal of the term.
The Minstermen though reduced the deficit when a shot by Oliver was deflected past keeper Alex Cisak into the net.
Orient continued to dictate after the break and Simpson restored the two-goal cushion when he shrugged off a couple of challenges before drilling the ball with quality past Scott Flinders.
However, City gave themselves a lifeline after the O's failed to clear the ball, and Oliver met a cross from James Berrett to head past Cisak before the O's keeper was called upon to pull off a fine save to protect his side's lead.
