Green out for Imps; Belford set for Shakers start

Lincoln boss Chris Sutton will have to change his defence for the visit of Bury. Paul Green is one of a number of absentees and will be out for the season after breaking a bone in his right foot in the defeat to Shrewsbury. Cian Hughton will likely step in having returned from suspension, with Aston Villa loanee Nathan Barker set to partner Danny Hone. Joe Anderson is being nursed back to fitness from a hamstring injury and will face a late fitness test to determine his participation. Defenders Adam Watts, Moses Swaibu and Ian Pearce are all out for the rest of the season through injury while midfielder Chris Herd will also miss the remaining matches with knee ligament damage.

    Bury news

Rookie goalkeeper Cameron Belford will likely stay between the posts for the trip to Lincoln. The 21-year-old stood in for the suspended Wayne Brown for the recent 3-0 win over Crewe and did enough to hold on to the shirt in the 1-1 draw with Port Vale despite the Shakers' regular number one being available again. Striker Keigan Parker has gone back to Oldham after an injury-plagued loan spell. But boss Alan Knill has an otherwise full-strength squad to choose from as his side look to cement their place in the play-offs. Knill took his players to an army base to put them through their paces on an assault course to prepare for the vital clash.
