Lee Angol will hope to be involved when Sky Bet League Two leaders Lincoln take on Northampton.
Striker Angol returned to the Imps on loan from Shrewsbury on deadline day and was an unused substitute against Notts County.
Goalkeeper Matt Gilks could also feature in the matchday squad after arriving on a free transfer from Scunthorpe. Left-back Sam Habergham will not play again this season after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
Northampton boss Keith Curle will not risk on-loan Burton striker Marvin Sordell. Sordell sustained a slight ligament tear and although he is fit to feature, he is not 100 per cent and is expected to return in a week or two.
Defender Jay Williams could come back into the fold. The 18-year-old has broken into the first team this season, making 11 appearances so far, but has sat out the Cobblers' last two matches.
Having failed to win in their previous seven league matches against Northampton (D3 L4), Lincoln ran out 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Northampton have won just once in their last 12 visits to Lincoln in league football (D6 L5), with that win coming in their most recent such encounter (2-0 in November 2010).
Lincoln's current 10-match unbeaten league run at home is their best in the Football League since September 2006, when they went 19 without a loss (W8 D11).
After their 2-1 win at Tranmere in midweek, Northampton are looking to win back-to-back away league matches for the first time since November 2017.
Lincoln have benefitted from more own goals (four) than any other side in League Two this season.
