Sutton's watching brief; McParland warns Magpies

Chris Sutton will watch from the stands as Lincoln take on a Notts County side struggling for form on their travels. Caretaker boss Simon Clark, in charge since Peter Jackson was sacked at the start of the month, will be at the helm for the final for the final time before new manager Sutton takes up his post. Clark will have the same group of players to choose from as he looks to end his stint on a high following three straight league defeats. Defenders Paul Green (hip) and Joe Heath (hernia) and striker Paul Connor (knee) remain absent. Clark has options should he wish to make changes, with midfielder Stefan Oakes and forwards Jamie Clarke, Andy Hutchinson and Lenell John-Lewis are all pushing for places.

    Notts County news

Boss Ian McParland has warned he will not hesitate to change a winning team as he looks to halt Notts County's poor away form. The Magpies continued their scintillating home displays with a 3-1 victory over Port Vale on Saturday, but they head for Sincil Bank on the back of three successive defeats on their travels. "If you have to change a winning team, you have to change it to win the next game," said McParland. "We have to start winning away from home, and I know we can win away from home. "Every game is tough. Lincoln will be tough. Beating Port Vale was important and if we can get two wins from the next two games, both of which are away, I'll be absolutely delighted. If we can get four points from those two games I'll be delighted." Neal Bishop could be recalled to partner Ricky Ravenhill in the centre of midfield, while Jamie Clapham could be restored at left-back and Karl Hawley recalled in place of either Lee Hughes or Luke Rodgers in attack.
