Aston Villa come from behind in a topsy-turvy match to beat Wigan thanks to Birkir Bjarnason's last-minute winner. Chey Dunkley's own goal restored parity after Nick Powell and Callum Connelly had cancelled out James Chester's opener.
It finishes all square in the Potteries as Ollie Watkins effort for Brentford cancelled out Benik Afobe's first-half goal.
Sheffield United are up and running for the season with Billy Sharp and a David McGoldrick penalty cancelling out Eberechi Eze's opener at Loftus Road.
