Substitute Barry Conlon's injury-time penalty gave Bradford a point as a pulsating encounter at Luton finished 3-3.
Luton had raced into a 2-0 half-time lead after Asa Hall glanced home Rossi Jarvis' corner in the fifth minute and then Sunday Wasiu touched home Jarvis' free-kick in the 37th minute.
Bradford boss Stuart McCall was sent off for arguing about the Hatters' second goal but his side hit back when Paul McLaren netted from close range in the 46th minute after Steve Jones' corner.
Dean Furman then equalised in the 57th minute with a fine left-footed shot from 16 yards after neat play from Jones and Peter Thorne.
Luton looked like they had won the game when Hall got his second in the final minute after a free-kick from substitute Kevin Nicholls.
But late drama saw referee Trevor Kettle award the visitors a controversial spot kick deep into added on time and Conlon stroked home to extend the visitors' unbeaten run to six games.
Hatters striker Chris Martin was sent off in the arguments that ensued.
