Table-topping Lincoln City take on struggling Macclesfield Town at Moss Rose on Saturday afternoon with Mark Yates's team aiming to get their first win of the Sky Bet League Two campaign.
The visitors may head into this clash having won five of their opening seven league fixtures, however, they are currently level on points with second-placed Newport County.
As a result, Danny Cowley's side will know that only a victory will guarantee they retain hold of top spot in the division.
The two teams have not gone head to head since Lincoln claimed the National League title at Sincil Bank back last year.
However, the clash is also a chance for the hosts to respond to last weekend's 1-0 loss at Stevenage.
Macclesfield and Lincoln haven't met in the Football League since March 2011, a 1-1 draw.
Lincoln have lost just two of their last 22 Football League matches against Macclesfield (including play-offs), winning 14 and drawing the other six games.
Macclesfield Town have failed to win any of their previous 30 League Two ties (D9 L21); their last victory came against Port Vale (2-1) back in December 2011.
Lincoln's 0-1 defeat to Crawley last time out ended a seven-game unbeaten run for the Imps (W5 D2).
The last Macclesfield manager to win against Lincoln in the Football League was Paul Ince in January 2007, with a brace from Kevin McIntyre securing a 2-1 win.
Macclesfield haven't quite got going yet on their return to the Football League and are still without a win in seven games, picking up just two draws so far.
Lincoln's electric start to the season came to a shuddering and unexpected halt last week at home to Crawley, but I fancy them to get back on the horse this weekend. Away win.
David Prutton predicts: 1-3 (16/1 with Sky Bet)
