Michael Harriman's last-gasp goal saw Wycombe past Millwall and into the third round of the FA Cup.

Paul Hayes' second-half opener for the visitors was quickly cancelled out by Ben Thompson, but Harriman's goal deep into stoppage time secured Gareth Ainsworth's men a 2-1 win.

Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram was tested early on by Lee Gregory's glancing header, but the visitors grew into the game and only a crucial Sid Nelson block prevented a Matt Bloomfield shot from testing Jordan Archer.

The Lions keeper was called into action again soon after, producing an impressive one-handed save to force behind another Bloomfield attempt.

Wycombe squandered a glorious chance three minutes before the break as Aaron Amadi-Holloway somehow contrived to place his low shot inches off target when it looked easier to score.

Ingram produced good saves to deny Shaun Williams and Aiden O'Brien early in the second half, before Wycombe took the lead when a long ball forward found Hayes and the striker's left-footed drive flew past Archer.

Wycombe's advantage proved short-lived, though, as they failed to clear their lines seven minutes later and Thompson smashed in an unstoppable 25-yard shot.

Harriman thought he had restored Wycombe's lead in the 65th minute, only to see his effort ruled out for offside.

However, there was drama deep into stoppage time when Aaron Pierre's skill inside the box created an opening for Harriman to win it at the death.
