MK Dons v Rochdale preview

Image: Baldock: Ankle injury

MK Dons will monitor Sam Baldock and Sean O'Hanlon while Rochdale are missing Scott Wiseman.

Double concern for Dons; Wiseman out for Dale

MK Dons will closely monitor the fitness of striker Sam Baldock and defender Sean O'Hanlon ahead of the visit of Rochdale. Baldock lasted just 11 minutes of Wednesday night's 2-0 win over Southampton before coming off with an ankle injury while centre-half O'Hanlon limped out late on with a back injury. Fellow striker Aaron Wilbraham made his first appearance of the season as a late substitute for O'Hanlon and could come into the picture after recovering from a back condition of his own. Angelo Balanta is another replacement who impressed in scoring the opener and the on-loan QPR man will be hoping to force his way into the starting XI. Summer signing Gary Mackenzie is still waiting for his debut as he recovers from an injury sustained in the summer but may be back in the squad for the weekend. Luke Howell could recover from a dead leg but Jude Stirling rests his groin injury and Stephen Gleeson is still absent as he recovers from a muscle injury.

Rochdale news

Rochdale boss Keith Hill is again missing defender Scott Wiseman ahead of the trip to MK Dons. Wiseman sustained a stomach muscle injury in the recent win at Southampton and will be closely monitored as he bids to return to full fitness. Yet Hill has no other injury or suspension concerns as his side go in search of their fourth successive League One victory. Hill is expected to again name the same starting line-up which beat Walsall 3-2 at home last weekend, a result which left Dale riding high in the play-off places. Hill's men have acclimatised well to life in the third tier after last season's promotion and midfielder Jason Kennedy said: "We believe we can beat anybody."
