MK Dons v Yeovil preview

Image: MacKenzie: Starts suspension for Dons

Team news for Tuesday night's League One clash between Milton Keynes Dons and Yeovil at stadium:mk.

MK Dons will be without defender Gary MacKenzie for the visit of Yeovil. The giant centre-half was dismissed for a reckless challenge during the 4-2 defeat at Tranmere on Saturday and begins a three-match ban. Also still sidelined through suspension is on-loan QPR forward Angelo Balanta who serves the final game of his three-match ban. Captain Dean Lewington (knee) and former Germany international Didi Hamann (hamstring) both shook off injuries to start at Prenton Park, though Hamann was replaced at half-time. Winger Luke Chadwick was passed fit after a knock to play the full 90 minutes but striker Jabo Ibehre jarred his knee in training on Friday and is not fit. Manager Karl Robinson is also troubled by a sickness bug which has laid several of his squad members low over the weekend. Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton could be without first-choice goalkeeper Stephen Henderson for the trip to face Dons. Henderson received a knock when diving at the feet of Swindon's Matt Ritchie and had to be withdrawn at half-time. If the on-loan 22-year-old does not recover in time for the game, goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts will again deputise after playing his first game for five years as a second-half substitute in the weekend's 3-3 draw. Sam Williams will be hoping for a recall to the starting line-up after playing 55 minutes as a substitute at the weekend, replacing Andrew Welsh in a tactical switch during the first half. Skiverton may choose to play Williams from the start after it was revealed he come through the game unscathed. Luke Freeman will also be hoping to taste the action following his return to the squad after a thigh injury. The Glovers could move out of the relegation zone with a win.
