Healy aims to build on 12 goals so far

David Healy will look to cement his status as Euro 2008 qualifying's top scorer as Northern Ireland play Denmark at Windsor Park. Northern Ireland still have an outside chance of qualifying, but must beat Denmark and Spain, and also hope Luis Aragones' side do not beat Group F leaders Sweden on Saturday. Healy will spearhead the home attack as he looks to build on the 12 goals he has already scored during the qualifying campaign. That figure puts him two ahead of Croatia's Eduardo da Silva and a further two clear of Manchester United and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo. With Kyle Lafferty suspended for the game, Healy will have a new partner up front, with Warren Feeney available after a ban, while Martin Paterson could be given his senior debut. Coach Nigel Worthington is also expected to bring Chris Baird, who missed the 1-1 draw in Sweden due to suspension, back into the side at the expense of Gareth McAuley. Keith Gillespie is likely to replace Ivan Sproule on the wing, while Jonny Evans was a late addition to the squad after George McCartney suffered an ankle injury. Like Northern Ireland, Denmark also have a slim chance of reaching next summer's finals, but also need to win their closing two games and hope Spain lose theirs. Denmark coach Morten Olsen has also bemoaned the lack of depth to his squad, which is likely to see the national team miss out on European Championship qualification for the first time since the 1980 tournament.
