Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Newport County and Salford City.

Mark Howard saved an 80th-minute penalty to earn Salford a 2-1 win at Rodney Parade as Newport County's 16-match unbeaten home run in League Two came to an end.

MK Dons were the last team to beat the Exiles on Welsh soil way back in May, but Salford picked up their third win on the road this season to continue their run of good form that saw them take 10 points from five games in October.

Padraig Amond had the chance to open the scoring with a header in the 24th minute but somehow missed the target, and it was the visitors who finally broke the deadlock when Cameron Burgess head home from a corner in the 40th minute.

County got back on level terms just before the break when an in-swinging corner from Matthew Dolan was headed into his own net under pressure by Nathan Pond.

Salford were far more fluent and positive in the second half and took the lead for the second time in the 54th minute when Lois Maynard headed home a free-kick.
