Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two game between Newport and Wycombe.

Newport and Wycombe paid the price for missed opportunities as they played out a 0-0 draw at Rodney Parade.

Exiles striker Padraig Amond wasted a host of chances while Craig Mackail-Smith should have made it four wins from six for Wycombe.

Amond had a pair of opportunities to put Newport ahead in the opening 10 minutes.

Wycombe goalkeeper Scott Brown pushed the ball into his path after League Two player of the month Frank Nouble battled his way down the left flank, but Amond failed to make a solid contact.

Brown then misjudged a Dan Butler cross but Amond could not find the target with his header.

Luke O'Nien stung the hands of Newport goalkeeper Joe Day with a curling effort, before Amond and substitute Reece Cole had late first-half chances but failed to convert them.

The Chairboys could have snatched the lead against the run of play after the break but Day came to the rescue to keep out a Josh Umerah header and a close-range effort from Mackail-Smith.
