Partick Thistle have lost two more players after Paul Gallacher and Gary Miller became the latest squad members to quit Firhill.

Veteran goalkeeper Gallacher - who made just one appearance last season after 39 in 2014/15 - had been offered a new contract along with defender Miller.

Both have chosen to move on, however, and their decisions come just a day after Belgian defender Frederic Frans said he would be leaving.

In addition to that, midfielder Stuart Bannigan is also seeking a new club after choosing to move on from Firhill at the end of his deal.

A Partick statement said: "The club can confirm that Frederic Frans, Paul Gallacher and Gary Miller have turned down new deals and will be playing their football away from Firhill in 2016/17.

"All at Partick Thistle thank them for their efforts for the club and wish them well in their future footballing careers."

While manager Alan Archibald now has to rebuild a notable part of his squad, he has been boosted by news that David Wilson has committed himself to Partick for another year.

The 21-year-old made his debut for Thistle in January 2014 against Celtic and has since gone on to feature 19 times.

He follows the lead of Abdul Osman and Stevie Lawless, who have also signed new contracts with the Glasgow side.
