Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
Phillips, 20, a product of the club's Thorp Arch academy, has extended his stay at Elland Road until at least the summer of 2019.
Former Swansea manager Garry Monk was appointed as Steve Evans' replacement earlier this month and Phillips is delighted to be part of his plans.
"I'm just happy that the gaffer has got trust and belief in me," Phillips told the club's official website.
"I've heard a lot of good things about him and that he's good with the young players.
"Personally, I want to do better than last season and get more game time. I want to be playing consistently and perform well when I get the chance."
Phillips made the first-team breakthrough at the end of the 2014/15 campaign and made 10 appearances for the Sky Bet Championship club last season.
